About Pooja
A mother-in-learning,a coach, a listener.
Chandigarh · since 2017
Pooja Nayar Punchhi is a Chandigarh-based certified life coach, author and Member of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights. She calls herself a “limitless learning coach” — someone still learning, alongside every family she works with.
In her words
I believe every atom has talent and aspires to be an entire galaxy. My job isn't to hand anyone a map. It's to sit beside them long enough that they remember they can draw their own.
My work began with young people — in classrooms, in workshops, and later as a Member of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, where I saw how often a child's “problem behaviour” was a signal nobody had time to read.
During the pandemic years, as more parents and adults reached out quietly overwhelmed, I formalised my practice as a certified life coach — and wrote Hash of Mash for the moments when no advice seems to work.
The path,so far.

What Ibelieve
Four ideas sit underneath every session — whether I'm with a six-year-old, a parent, or a room full of principals.
Nobody is broken
Behaviour is communication. Before we change anything, we listen for what it's trying to say.
Present over perfect
Children don't need flawless parents. They need adults who show up, repair, and try again.
Strength lives inside
No one can help you more than yourself. My work is to help you find what's already there.
Small, then steady
Ten honest minutes a day beat one grand plan. Change that lasts is always gentle.
